Adoption process and Terms and Conditions
Below you’ll find details of pour adoption process and our Terms & Conditions fort adopting with us. Please take the time ot read these beofre applying. We take the welfare of our rescues seriously and want to find them the most caring and loving homes.
Adoption Terms & Conditions
We want every adoption to be a success—for you and for the animal. Here’s what you need to know before applying:
You must be 21 or older to adopt or foster.
We generally don’t rehome pets to households where they’ll be left alone for more than 5 hours a day.
We typically don’t rehome to families with young children, but we consider this case by case.
All animals must be neutered. If they’re not neutered yet (e.g. recently in season), we’ll cover the cost and arrange the procedure through our vet—you’ll just need to attend.
We only rehome to homes where the animal will live indoors.
Once adopted, you are responsible for vet care and third-party liability (for dogs).
🏡 Settling In & Responsibility
Whether it’s a cat or a dog, rescue animals need time to adjust. We ask that you:
Give your new pet time, space, and patience as they settle in.
Contact us and return the animal to us at your expense if things don’t work out—we’ll never judge, but we need to ensure they’re safe.
Understand that although we assess health and behaviour carefully, things may change once the animal is in a new environment.
✅ Our Adoption Process
Here’s how it works:

Meet & Greet – Everyone in the home must meet the animal before adoption.
Adoption Agreement – You’ll sign a simple contract confirming your responsibilities.
Training (for dogs and puppies) – If adopting a puppy, you’ll need to attend training classes and provide details.
❤️ A Final Word
Adopting a rescue pet is a big decision. Many have been through a lot, and some may arrive with fears or emotional scars.
They may need extra love, time, and patience—but they also give back so much.
Please make sure your whole household is ready for the commitment.
Rescue pets know when they’ve been saved—and they don’t forget it.
