Please welcome Alan! This lovely lad has recently come into our care after being found as a stray. He’s currently quite a nervous boy who is very unsure of the world but his confidence is slowly building.

Alan is an approximately four year old crossbreed (possibly boxer x staffie), who needs a loving home who will show him the world can be fun and he doesn’t need to be scared.

Alan is currently in kennels where the staff are absolutely amazing with the dogs and we know he’ll soon learn that people can be kind and loving as they are very patient and understanding with the dogs and they’ll work with him at his speed.

He has been out for an adventure with one of our volunteers which he thoroughly enjoyed. He will need a home where he’ll have plenty of exercise and as well as sofa time for cuddles with his people once he trusts them.

Alan is dog friendly so we would rehome him with another dog pending a successful introduction, and we consider homes with calm dog savvy children of high school age, but he’s a no to cats as we don’t know how he’d be around them.

Alan is just such a sweetheart, he just loves people and dogs. He’d make an absolutely wonderful addition to the right home.
