Meet the beautiful Betsy! This bubbly girl was found as a stray and came to us from a pound puller who thankfully were able to get her safe into us before she was euthanised. She came in with really sore skin from fleas, but she’s now been treated and is feeling much more herself!

Because Betsy came in as a stray we have no prior history on her meaning she isn’t child or cats tested. Therefore we’re looking for a cat free home with children of highschool age upwards (she’s very friendly with people but as a slightly bigger girl she might be a bit much for smaller children!).

So far Betsy has been lovely in kennels, she just wants love and fuss (she knows she’s a pretty girl!). She’s been good on dog assessment so far so would potentially be suitable to be rehomed with another dog, once she’s had a bit more time to settle she’ll spend more time with some of our dogs so we can get a better picture of this.

We don’t yet know what Betsy is like within the home, she does a very keen sit so we do think she has some prior training, she just needs someone with experience and patience to help her catch up on anything she’s missed. She’s so full of love and is really keen to please so we’re sure she’ll pick up on everything quickly!

Ideally Betsy is looking for an active home with someone around a lot of the time to help her settled & give her lots of cuddles. She’s going to make the most amazing pup for a lucky family!
