Cerce

Cerce, lovely mother of Achilles (a kitten who was born a couple of months ago with Cerebellar Hypoplasia) is about a year old. She has helped to raise not just her kitten, but Falcon (Mrs P’s kitten) who was born at the same time as him. She is the most friendly little girl, and has such a beautiful face. We here at TYR wonder if she could be a more exotic breed (or at least is crossed with one!). She has the most wonderful eyes, which are permanently wide open so that she doesn’t miss anything!

Cerce has had a difficult start to life, she was dumped by her original owners when they moved house and became pregnant while living on the street. She was ill during her pregnancy, which unfortunately caused her to lose three kittens and is the reason why Achilles was born with his condition. She gave birth on the hottest day of the year, and had a very difficult labour which required veterinary intervention. Despite this, she is absolutely thriving! She has recovered so well, and made a perfect mum (and Auntie) to her kittens.

She would be great in any home environment, she has lived with several different dogs and cats during her time in foster, and has been super with all of them. Not much phases this bomb-proof queen, she’ll be sitting on your knee and purring no matter what’s happening around her! She really has so much love to give.

Please help us find this stunning little lady her forever home, she (like all of our other animals) deserves it so much. If you are interested in her fill in a cat adoption application or email us at hello@yorkshirerescue.org.
