Charlie is a sweet and sensitive little dog with a heart full of love—he’s just looking for the right person to share it with. His past is a bit of a mystery, as he came to us via the dog warden, but what we do know is that he’s ready for a fresh start.
Charlie is nervous around men, so he’s best suited to a quiet, adult female-only home where he can feel safe and settled. Once he’s comfortable, he absolutely loves a fuss and will happily curl up on your lap for a snooze and a cuddle.
He walks nicely on a lead and enjoys his sniffy strolls, but doesn’t seem to know many commands—so he’d benefit from a patient owner willing to help him gently build confidence and learn new things.
Charlie could live with another calm, friendly dog, and would love a secure garden to explore. He’s not cat tested and isn’t suited to homes with young children.
