Cracker

Meet Cracker, one of our very own Christmas miracles. Cracker was abandoned by his owners, left with his sister locked inside their house when they left. No one was told, and we can’t even begin to comprehend what these two went through in the days before they were found. As you can see from the photos of them, sent to us by the amazing lady who found them and fed them until the council would release them to us, they were completely emaciated. Just skin and bones, they were terrified.

We don’t know their full history, but from what we’ve gathered so far these two pups may never have been outside of the flat where they were kept, they were terrified of the outside world. They were both so brave, letting us bring them into rescue even though it’’s something they’ve never experienced so far. We’re so happy that they’re safe with us, but they have an incredibly long journey left to go. Not only are they underweight, but they need to learn how to trust humans again after their trust has been completely shattered by their old owner.

But we know they’re worth the work. Despite their fear, they have been nothing but gentle and we can’t wait for them to relax enough that their personalities begin to shine through. We are aiming to get them into foster families as soon as we can, so that they can get all of the love and attention that they need and more. Update will be coming, but for now they aren’t up for adoption as they need some time to recover.
