Draco *Reserved*

Meet Draco, the adorable 18 month old lurcher cross. Draco is coming to us from Flushdyke Kennels, who unfortunately are having to close down. Draco was originally a stray picked up in Doncaster, and has been having a very stressful time in kennels- it can be a very overwhelming place and a lot of change especially for such a young boy! He was so anxious when he came to us, the poor boy had completely shut down and was so skinny.

In the last couple of weeks, he has turned into such a different dog! Having been able to relax, he’s stared to put on weight & has become the most playful loving puppy! He just wants love & attention from everyone he meets (and he definitely knows how handsome he is). He is super keen to please (especially is treat or toys are on offer) and will be super trainable, especially being so young. Unfortunately he just hasn’t been trained before, and while he walks well on lead and can sit (and do a very polite paw as you can see in the photos!) just hasn’t been shown much else.

So far draco wants to play with every dog he meets, so we think he’d be suitable to be rehomed with another dog as long as they got along.

Hopefully, we’ll be able to get Draco into foster or his forever home soon so he’ll be able to continue relaxing with lots of cuddles and TLC! Applications are open for this handsome lad. He’d make the perfect partner for someone who spends lots of time outdoors and would play with him lots, he’s just looking for love!

We’re not currently looking for homes with cats, as he hasn’t been cat tested. We think he’d be great with older kids or teens (but is a tad too bouncy for young kids!)
