Henry *Under Assessment*

Meet Henry the stunning spaniel! Poor Henry was found wandering the streets this winter and thankfully was picked up by the dog warden and brought safe into us. He was in a bit of a state, his fur was matted and dirt was crusted into his ears making them itchy and sore. Lucky for him one of our amazing foster families stepped up to take him on as soon as we got the call about him, and he is now much more comfortable for a bath and a vets trip!

While we don’t know anything for sure about his past we think Henry is from working stock, he has a docked tail and has had his dew claws removed and definitely has the drive for it! He is such a bouncy two year old! He’s just full of energy all the time, he’s ready to take on the world with his new best-friends! Despite being very excitable, he has settled well into his foster home and is house trained.

Henry is just your classic spaniel really, he needs lots of exercise and would make a wonderful companion. So far we know we are looking for a very experienced home for him as he does need some manners training on lead. Due to his prey drive we aren’t looking for a home with cats or young children. He ideally needs someone with lots of time to help him settle into his new home, he hasn’t learnt to use his off switch yet!

As he hasn’t been with us for too long he’s still under assessment while we work out what would make his perfect home. Watch for when he’s up for adoption!
