Mandy
Meet the marvellous Mandy! This lovely little girl has unfortunately come into rescue due to the loss of her owner. She’s been a very loved girl and we’re looking for a new family to love her just as much. She just wants a peaceful life with lots of love and fuss, she’s now settling into foster with her new furry foster brother and is doing well.
Mandy is just the most affectionate little girl, she loves cuddling up on the sofa (ideally on your knee!) and asks very politely for cuddles when she wants them!
She’s good out and about on walk and walks well on lead, she’s only got little legs and hasn’t been getting much walking previously so would prefer little frequent walks (followed by a snuggle on the sofa under a blanket!).
Mandy hasn’t lived with cats or children before and is ideally looking for an adult only or older teen home where she can get lots of fuss & quiet. She has lived with other dogs previously and is with a dog currently in foster so may live well with another dog if they got on at meetings.
Because of her owners illness she didn’t get quite as much attention as she needed the last few months, she didn’t get out for walks and as such is a little overweight and has had the occasional accident in the home. She’s working on both in foster, and with short frequent walks so that she can go to the toilet she’s doing really well. She does need a family with understanding and patience to help her settle.
If you think you could be her paw-fect retirement please get in touch, she can’t wait to meet you! More information will be added here as she settles into foster & we learn more about her.
