Meet Max, the handsome gentleman who loves a ball (and a cuddly toy for that matter!)

Max has been with us for a little while now, he initially came from the warden as a stray so we have limited history on him but now that he's been with us in kennels and in foster we've started to build a good picture on him.

Max is your classic collie, he is full of beans and absolutely loves everything outdoors. Not only does he love a sniffy walk (both on and off lead) and a game of fetch but he's been camping-dog with his fosters!

We think Max has been a loved family pet before as he does have a good amount of training - he certainly knows how to give his paw to ask for a treat! He is very good in the house and loves fusses.

 Max is friendly with other calm dogs so may be suitable to live with another dog if they got on well but they would need to be well matched.

 Max likes his people to be around and still struggles a little bit to settle when left - he just wants to know what you're doing! This is something we think will improve with training and after time, once he settles and realises he's staying in one place we think he'll fully relax.

 Again the classic collie, Max is a bit of a shadow watcher. It's just one of his quirks and as long as he's getting lots of fuss and exercise he's quite happy.

 Max isn't child tested so would only be suitable for older children or teens. We are ideally looking for a collie or high energy breed experienced home.
