Introducing the marvellous Mr. Miso! This wonderful boy came into us from the warden after being found straying. He’s only young and has had a tough time of it so far, he had mange when he came in but has now been treated & is recovering really well (he just needs a chance for all of his fur to grow back!). This pup is on the smaller side, closer to a whippet (he’s certainly got the ears for it!).

Because of this we do not have any history on him and as he’s currently in kennels we do not yet know what he’s like in a home environment. As a lurcher Miso may have a strong prey drive, because of this we are not looking for homes with cats or young children. He ideally wants an adult home with someone around most of the time.

Because of his tough start to life & the massive amount of change he’s been through in the last couple of weeks he can understandably be a bit nervous of new people. He just needs someone with lots of time & patience to teach him how to be loved.

This little man has been super friendly with all of the dogs he’s met so far (he loves playing with Nemo & Dory who he came in at the same time as!). He’d make a great companion for the right dog and would benefit from another calm dog to give him some borrowed confidence.

He’s a high energy breed so would fit perfectly into an active home, and would benefit with a lurcher experienced owner with lots of time to give him training and help settle him in.

He loves a treat (food is the way to his heart!) and would fit excellently into a calm home where he gets lots of exercise with another furry friend & has a sofa to snuggle up on at the end of the day.
