Mistletoe (Missy)

Meet Missy, one of our very own Christmas miracles. Missy was abandoned by her owners, left with her brother locked inside their house when they left. No one was told, and we can’t even begin to comprehend what these two went through in the days before they were found. They were just skin and bones, they were terrified.

They’ve now been with us for a month or so, and the difference in them is incredible. Not only that they’ve put on weight, but they’ve turned into completely different dogs! Mistletoe is just the gentlest little lady, she’s so sweet and just wants all the love. It’s taken them some time, and a lot of TLC, but they’ve finally discovered how fun walks can be and there’s no looking back now!

They can still be a little shy of new people, but quickly come out of their shells. We’re looking for an experienced home for them, where they can be given the time and training they need to reach their full potential. They love sniffy walks, and are starting to get their heads around toys (they’ve definitely worked out treats though!).

This pair have been through so much together, and they are most confident when with each other or with other dogs. We are looking for them to either be homed together, or in households with other dogs so that they can have the companionship they so enjoy.

We aren’t currently looking for homes with cats or young children for this gorgeous pair.
