Say a big hello to the lovely Rhubarb! This handsome gentleman has just come into us from a pound puller, because of this we don’t have very much history on him & we’re just getting to know him.

What we do know is that he hasn’t had the easiest life so far, and he bears the scars to prove it. We cannot imagine what this poor lad has been through and we can’t comprehend how anyone could do that to any dog let alone one as sweet as Rhubarb.

So far he’s been great in kennels and has been friendly with everyone he’s met. He was also good on dog assessment at a distance, he was more interested in his ball than the other dog, so we’ll see how he gets on with some of our other dogs once he’s had a chance to settle.

Because we have no history on him we don’t know how he would be with cats or children so when he’s ready for adoption he’d be looking for teen or adult only cat-free homes (all the more loving for this snuggle-bug!).

He’ll be looking for an active calm home with lots of time & patience to teach him how to be loved again. He’s a massive ball fan & can’t wait to have his own garden to play fetch in. We know he’s going to make an amazing addition to the right family!
